“Wilson’s Bakery and Cafe” opened in the summer of 2021 and is dedicated to providing career opportunities for High Watch alumni and others in the program. Jerry and the High Watch team also opened “The Hilltop”, which is a partial hospitalization program situated in an ornate villa in the hills of Litchfield County, Connecticut. High Watch’s new detoxification center provides detox care for the first time in the organization’s history. During Jerry’s tenure, High Watch opened its first-ever sober living opportunities, which it offers on four different properties. With Jerry at the helm, High Watch has experienced tremendous growth while remaining true to its mission as the world’s first treatment center founded on the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He has over twenty years of experience as an executive with non-profit healthcare organizations. Jerry Schwab is the CEO of High Watch Recovery Center in Kent, CT. In addition, Mike is a national speaker, educator, and consultant on the topics of developmental trauma, addiction, and adolescent treatment for individuals and helping programs around the country. Mike currently serves as Chief Clinical Officer for Family First Adolescent Services, a premiere residential treatment center in South Florida, where he utilizes his extensive training and experience in the field of trauma, somatic psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, and addiction treatment to inform the creation of individual, group, and family programming for teens and their loved ones at Family First.

Mike is also a nationally Certified Trauma Professional and a NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®) Practitioner, having consulted for the NARM Training Institute on the creation of workshop for the application of NARM® & Working with Adolescents.
Mike is a Florida Certified Addiction Counselor and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC). He has since traveled to India to study and become certified in Yoga and Meditation. He started his career in the mental health field working with adult clients who suffered from complex trauma and PTSD, as well as chemical and process addictions.
