Well, You need to be able to cast workshop assistant for free, so that means have 3 Inspectors in play. Not something to try on the ladder, but it may be fun vs AI to make a few hundred thopters. This one isn't easy to set up, but it'll work with both efficient Construction and the Requisitioner. There's nothing like an infinite combo to break a card. If your splashing black, Kingpins are helpful against aggro because of lifelink and the synergy is there with the General theme. if you manage to slow the game until turn 6 when you stabilize I did kill one yesterday only to see it cast again after a grapple to the pastĮfficient construction can consistently swarm the board with thopters. it can handle gods and the occasional Ulamog. Super easy to trigger revolt on demand with this deck Īggro was eating me alive and my curve had no real 2 dops that could protect me from an onslaught so this guy save me and it makes your thopters 1/2 flyers which is nice this build had a good run last night, going 5-2 on the mid 30´s iOS ladder. mono blue obviously did not have the answers needed against the current meta so I had to splash a bit of Black.
Initial plan was to go with elder Deep-Fiend emerge or Gearseeker Serpents, but they got cut along the way to 60 cards. I really like the idea of using Marionette and Requisioner together somehow, but Marionette is hard to get down without ramp or recursion. Intruder is one of my fave cards for eggs/articrat builds. That been said Haven have you tried revenous intruder on the rakdos deck? No one in its right mind would try to build a tier 1 deck with either efficient construction or that other atrocity. Thopter Spy Network on the other hand would be good.ĭamn you flaky for making this really tough! I actually thought of cutting the Requisitioners for efficient Construction, but another do nothing 4-drop Enchantment looks even worse. I've included all the token buffing anthems/lords I could think of, so it should be nice and grindy and fun to play (hopefully!). Marionette Master was the Last cut to Reach 60 cards, but looks as though she'd be at home in this deck, unfortunately being a 6-drop makes her expendable. i may go back to the maps and cut some Land. The mana base probably needs tweaking, since I had maps in initially and didn't play Wilds.
I've been enjoying Supernatural Stamina as a surprise removal nullifier, that can get extra ETB value, so it'll work well with Servo makers. I do feel like cutting them would make the deck better, but With them, you do have some sort of removal/sweeper Defense if you have any Artifact creatures. I just get the feeling it doesn't break the Requisitioners enough for the theme of this contest.
